Zaro helps founders make better decisions by analyzing signals like emails and tasks. We take privacy seriously. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Information We Collect

  • Account info: email, name (if provided), and basic settings (e.g., tone, intensity).
  • Emails you connect (Gmail/Outlook): message metadata (sender, recipients, subject, timestamps), message body text, and derived labels (e.g., category, importance) used to generate plans and insights.
  • Business context you provide: description, company domains, and key players you add.
  • Usage data: actions in the app that help the system learn what works for you.

How We Use Information

  • To create your daily plan (PDP) and recommend actions that move your business forward.
  • To rank and classify emails, detect opportunities and tasks, and reduce noise.
  • To improve guidance quality through aggregated learning about patterns over time.
  • To provide support and maintain the service (debugging, security, reliability).

Gmail Limited Use Compliance

If you connect Gmail, Zaro’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

  • Access is used strictly to provide user-facing features in Zaro (classification, PDP).
  • We do not sell your data. We do not use or transfer it for ads.
  • We only share data with service providers as needed to deliver the product.
  • You can disconnect at any time and request deletion of stored data.

Data Retention & Deletion

  • You may disconnect Gmail/Outlook at any time.
  • You may request deletion of your account and associated data.
  • Derived analytics (e.g., counters, aggregates) may remain in anonymized form.

We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest. No system can be 100% secure, but we work to safeguard your information and limit access to what’s needed.

  • Access, update, or delete your profile information.
  • Disconnect email integrations at any time.
